Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) was established by the Act No.14 of 1994 passed by the Gujarat State Legislature on 13th April, 1994, Located in Chharodi, Ahmedabad. It offers UGC approved undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, science, commerce and management. Accredited with an NAAC A++ grade, the BAOU provides accessible education in Ahmedabad. BAOU Online Admission is process for the 3 Undergraduate courses Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Arts (English) and Bachelor of Commerce admissions are ongoing for the July Cycle. BAOU Online Admission for UG courses 2026 last date will be 15 July 2026. The University offers 3 year UG level semester based programme to eligible students. The University offers UG courses.
